Meet the Woodland Hills Team Behind Laurel Attic Insulation Woodland Hills
When you book with Laurel Attic Insulation Woodland Hills, you don’t get a rotating cast of subcontractors. You get four people who know this trade, know this valley’s older ranch homes and 80s-era track houses, and show up wearing the same uniform every time. We’ve built this crew around one idea: the person who answers your call should understand what happens in your attic. Chase Whitaker, Owner, has worked alongside every member of this team in someone’s crawlspace or attic. That matters when you’re trusting a crew in your home.
Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician, Spray Foam Specialist
Marcus has been installing insulation since 2009, and he’s been with Laurel since 2018. He’s our spray foam lead, which means he’s the one who reads the substrate, checks the ambient temperature, and decides whether open-cell or closed-cell foam is the right call for a specific Woodland Hills attic. He holds certifications through Icynene and Demilec, and Chase will tell you he’s called Marcus back to a job more than once just to get a second set of eyes on a roofline. Outside of work, Marcus builds custom fishing rods. He’ll talk your ear off about rod action and line weight if you let him.
Elena R. – Senior Installer, Batts & Blown-In
Elena started with blown-in fiberglass and never looked back. She handles our Owens Corning and Johns Manville batt installs, our GreenFiber blow jobs, and the air sealing that goes with them. What sets Elena apart is her eye for access issues: she can tell you within five minutes whether a 1950s Woodland Hills attic with a 22-inch scuttle hole is going to be a straightforward blow or require a different approach. She’s been with Laurel since 2020 and runs most of our two-person installs. Elena’s human detail: she photographs old houses for fun on weekends, and she notices architectural details most people walk right past.
Sam D. – Service Coordinator
Sam is the person who answers when you call at 7:30 on a Tuesday morning. He’s been doing dispatch and scheduling for home service crews for eleven years, and the thing he’s best at is honest timing. Sam won’t put you in a four-hour window and make you burn a day. He schedules around actual drive times, actual job durations, and actual traffic on the 101. If the crew is running behind, Sam calls you, not the other way around. When he’s not at the desk, Sam coaches youth soccer in Canoga Park and has a worrying amount of knowledge about the LA Galaxy’s 2014 roster.
Jordan P. – Apprentice Installer
Jordan joined us in 2024 as an apprentice, and he earned his spot by showing up early and asking good questions. He works alongside Elena on batt installs and is learning spray foam application from Marcus. The first thing we trained him on was how to properly wear a respirator and how to check fall protection in an attic, because that’s the baseline for everything else. Jordan grew up in the West Valley, which means he actually understands when a homeowner describes a “weird warm spot” above a specific bedroom. He’s the one who ends up hauling the old fiberglass down the ladder, and he does it without complaint.
One Standard, Every Job
What holds this crew together isn’t a slogan. It’s a setup. Every Laurel Attic Insulation job in Woodland Hills runs the same way, whether it’s Marcus on a spray foam project or Elena on a removal and re-blow. We give you a written price before anything starts, and it’s the price you pay, not a starting point. We call it The Relay Standard: book in a tap, get a live arrival time, receive before-and-after photos, and pay from the link on your digital invoice. Every job leaves with a 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing, and if something isn’t right within that year, the second visit is free. No charge, no argument. Chase Whitaker signs off on that promise personally, because his name is on the door and he’s the one who has to answer for a missed detail. That’s how we’ve operated since 2003, and it’s how this crew works today: four people who know each other’s work, backed by a written guarantee on every single job.
